Python is a free and open source programming language which means it is free to use and it's source code is available to us which can be modified and distributed.It is a very easy programming language to learn and now a days it is one of the most popular language and reason for python being popular is because of its efficiency.
The first thing that you should do while learning any language is to install interpreter/compiler of the programming language.So, let's begin with installing python interpreter.
Installing python interpreter
1) Windows computer
Step1:- go to https://www.python.org/downloads/ and click on download as shown above. (If you want to download any older version you can do so by scrolling down and choose any older version but I would recommend to go with latest version).
Step2:- after downloading the software install it and remember to check "Add to path" option so that you will not have to encounter any problem after installation.

Now that you have successfully installed Python, you should know that there are mainly two modes for coding.You can either use python shell or script mode.
(Note:-Python shell returns output after each line whereas in script mode you can write entire code and run it when you want.)

2) Android phone
Android application that I use and recommend for python programming is Pydroid 3.Or else if you want to use a lighter app you can try qpython.But if you you have storage to spare i would recommend you to use Pydroid 3 because it has more functionality to it and you can use many of the python packages.
